Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with the right skillset to bring our product and service portfolio to new customers. You are responsible for evaluating and pursuing new business opportunities, positioning our offering, and establishing it on different markets, directly strategizing with our founders. Right now, we are building out a handful of R&D data ecosystems with large enterprise customers – our focus industries are pharma & healthcare, chemical R&D and manufacturing. We productize our general-purpose tech core for private data sharing and we heavily ramp up our business development to win the next data ecosystems with leading industry players. The use cases we address are primarily related to R&D acceleration empowered by machine learning applications – the data ecosystems are the foundation for a breakthrough in those use cases.

About this position

As a Business Development Manager at apheris AI, your responsibilities include the professionalization and expansion of our partner and customer networks. You are conducting market research and analysis, create proposals for existing and potential customers and elaborate on use cases based on their needs. You will work closely with the founding team and participate in expansion activities and lead acquisition. You connect the dots between our product and potential customer’s needs and prepare proposals for new projects, making sure that they are directed to specific customers in various markets.

What you bring to the table

  • Gained several years of work experience in a top-tier consulting firm, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity and/or in start-ups.
     

  • Proven track record of personal, academic and professional achievements and managerial skills.
     

  • A profound technical understanding is required (good understanding of data science and enterprise software).
     

  • Strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of various business functions such as sales, product marketing, finance, marketing etc.
     

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic business planning and development.
     

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
     

  • Exceptional communication skills across disciplines, roles, functions, and levels.
     

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
